A historian eager to start a travel business focussing on off-the-beaten-path tours of Italy’s rich history
Brief
To create a website that showcased the client’s experience and articles, as well as offered a clear events calendar to highlight their upcoming speaking engagements. The client had previously had a site on a commercial site builder and found it needed to be expanded upon. The client was also keen to create a logo based on a drawing a family member had created of an owl.
Challenge
To create an articles-structure page that focused on the clients published work in Italian, American and academic publications was also required in the build. Everything needed to be archived and searchable by keywords, tags and date of publication.

Final Result
We created a WordPress website that was inspired by colours and themes of the Renaissance while clearly displaying the most important aspects of her site: the calendar, the blog, and her experience and mission. We also digitised the hand-drawn owl that she wanted for her logo.
