A gift buying and receiving network.
Brief
The client was seeking a website and a logo for her business venture, a gift buying and receiving website where users can make a wishlist, share it with their friends and have their friends claim items on the wishlist.
The idea behind the website was to create a place where users could develop a wishlist and send it to their friends and family. This would allow the gift-giver an opportunity to buy the gift recipient something they really desired for a gift-giving occasion. For each item listed, there would be a claim button for friends and family to select to choose the item (to prevent receiving multiples of the same gift). Additionally, there was a need to keep the element of surprise, so the wishlist owner would not know if/when/who has claimed the item.
Challenge
The challenge of this project was trying to find ways in which users could claim items from their friends wishlist without them knowing, to keep the element of surprise.

Final Result
This is the finished product of What to Buy Them. It includes a login/registration form that creates a user profile, once the user signs up. Once the user enters into the What to Buy Them network, they are able to develop their profile, add a wishlist, add friends, message friends and finally, claim items on their friends’ wishlists.
