The client is an educator in New York City.
Brief
The client, an educator in New York City, was looking to build a business selling unique gifts and books that address topics not normally seen in childrens’ books. The client required a logo and branding, as well as a website that showcased her services.
Challenge
The challenge was to create a brand and website that looked “fun” but still professional, while easily showcasing a wide array of products and services.
Another challenge to tackle was that the client needed a way to capture various different types of information from her customers but wanted a system that was not too complex. Additionally, she did not want to have to put a form on each page for each request.
Updates made since launch
Since the launch of Unpack Your Own Happy, the client came back to us with the request of adding a shop to her site. The challenge was finding the best way to merge her shop with wordpress. She had already created a Shopify shop so we needed a way to merge the two together to make them look seamless.

Final Result
We were able to create a site that laid out all of the client’s services and products in a way that is informative and still fun.
We used forms to suit the client’s business needs in regards to capturing various different pieces of information. We created a separate form used solely for booking appearances. We then used one form on the contact page that would auto- adjust its fields depending on the selected reason. Customers can select for general enquiries, registering an interest in products, or to put an order request directly with the business to purchase her products.
Updates made since launch
The Shopify shop has now been added to Unpack your own happy. You can see screenshots of the details below under graphics. We managed to merge it with the wordpress by using a Shopify app which allowed us to showcase the products on a page and once selected it takes you to the shopify shop page which we styled with the same header as the website header to make everything look seamless and now if the client adds products to her shop on shopify they will auto update on her wordpress site.
