Arts For All is a nonprofit organisation offering opportunities to children in the New York City area who face socio-economic, physical, or emotional barriers to exploring the arts.
Brief
Arts For All came to us looking for a redesign and rebuild of their website, which had been online in its current form for over 10 years and was experiencing technical difficulties in terms of updates and mobile responsiveness.
Challenge
Initially, we considered the possibility of troubleshooting the issues that the website they had online were facing; however the site lacked a few necessary WordPress updates over the years, as well as was written with a now-defunct form of HTML that we decided in terms of security and usability, it was best to build a completely new site.
As AFA has strict branding guidelines that were set out over a decade ago, our challenge was to create a a design that was modernised within the branding guidelines and also responsive across all screen sizes.

Final Result

With the help of AFA’s webmaster to supply content addition from the previous website, we were able to rebuild the site with a new design that still honoured the branding guidelines for the organisation but also modernised its look and feel. The new website has a reduced number of pages from its predecessor to keep the site easier to use and clear calls-to-action to make information for parents, students, schools, volunteers and benefactors easy to locate. The site includes a blog, a stylised shop, video and social media integrations and application forms.
